Set in the heart of Aberdeenshire amongst 44 acres of woodland and parks, Thainstone House is minutes from the vibrant town of Inverurie and close to Aberdeen Airport. Once a grand family home, it is now an elegant hotel and spa.

Within this historic building, all the rooms have been decorated to a high standard, with a warm atmosphere, all with free WiFi, tea/coffee making facilities and a television.

The hotel has excellent leisure facilities including an outdoor hot tub overlooking the gardens, an indoor heated swimming pool, a gym and some pre-measured running routes around the hotel grounds.

The 2 AA Rosette awarded Green Lady restaurant serves up tasty dishes made with local produce and served with a superb selection of wines, beers and spirits.

Thainstone’s conference and event space can accommodate up to 400 delegates in the main hotel itself, but the Marquee can cater for up to 1000 and makes an ideal event space for a variation of events. The marquee has full length glass window walls on one side and a grand entrance, along with a marquee kitchen, and luxury mobile toilet facilities. The interior itself is individually crafted to what you want it to be.

Thainstone’s marquee and outdoor space is a brilliant area for BlueSky’s Highland Games, with the Marquee functioning as an indoor cover in case the weather decides to turn. The house itself can be used for many of BlueSky’s Team Building and Team Development activities such as The Big Picture or the Puzzle Zone. With many catering options or the option to hire your own, Thainstone is fully flexible so you can have your day exactly how you would like it.
